Deck Ambassadors at British Swim School run efficient customer service and site operations focused on retention of families through engaging relationships to secure further lesson bookings and to attract new customers.
The key to success lies in adherence to British Swim School policies and procedures, ensuring that families' expectations are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships with clients.
- Maintain a high level of communication with customers and employees, with bi-lingual skills being an asset.
- Foster a disciplined approach to schedules and safety procedures, adhering to the teaching methods and policies of British Swim School.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks accordingly.
Roles and Expectations:
- Directly reports to and communicates with Operations Manager or Franchise Business Owner.
- Ensure timely arrival and proper attire in British Swim School uniform, at least 30 minutes prior to the first lesson.
- Create a positive first impression and facilitate a smooth orientation for new families.
- Manage on-site marketing and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized setup, and restock merchandise as needed.
- Accurately check students in for swim classes and ensure correct instructor placement.
- Coordinate move-ups, milestone celebrations, and social media engagement to foster a sense of community.
- Monitor class schedules, attendance, and lesson board, reporting any discrepancies.
- Implement Water Watchers program at all locations and attend staff meetings as requested.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Promote sales for new enrollments, special classes, and loyalty programs.
- Assist instructors from the pool deck when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean pool deck environment, adhering to pool safety regulations and policies.
- Document and report accidents and injuries to supervisors promptly.
- Regularly monitor water quality, temperature, and chemical levels.
- Adhere to a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends as required by business needs.
- Work effectively in moderate to high noise environments.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
