Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Truck/Event Manager. The role involves managing the daily operations of the food truck and leading events, including public vending, corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, and festivals. The role will require some work from the office, but will be primarily at event locations in and around Orlando, FL. Duties include inventory and supply management, event coordination, personnel and customer service management, and administrative tasks. Other duties include but are not limited to trailer and generator maintenance, working the service window, making donuts and beverages using a preset process, and potentially driving the Donut trailer to various events and parking in a safe manner to execute service.

The Truck Event Manager will at times have to manage/supervise 1-2 additional employees to ensure all standards of performance and customers satisfaction are met.

Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and evenings and some holidays
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; preferably bilingual Spanish/Portuguese
  • Experience in managing event operations or food service
  • Valid work authorization
  • Ability to plan and coordinate events and personnel management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in inventory and supply management
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive a trailer, and clean driving record
  • Experience in marketing and social media is a plus
