About Us
Friends of Fisher House Orlando is a 501(c)3 community group that supports the Orlando Fisher House. A Fisher House provides a ''home away from home'' for families of Veterans/military members receiving medical care at a major military facility or VA Medical Center. The Orlando Fisher House provides cost-free, temporary lodging in a comfortable, relaxed setting just steps away from the Medical Center. It is our goal to make sure that our guests are relieved of the financial and emotional strain of being away from home during a very stressful time.
