Gary S. Salzman is a shareholder with Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman, P.A. Prior to joining his current firm, he was a shareholder at GrayRobinson, P.A.
Gary received his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1985 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1988, both from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. He has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation since 1997. Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification.
Gary served six years on The Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization and Education and, prior to that, he served six years on The Florida Bar’s Business Litigation Certification Committee.
Gary is a certified circuit-civil and appellate mediator, as well as a Florida Supreme Court trained and qualified arbitrator. Gary provides alternative resolution services for commercial, real estate and employment disputes as a mediator, an arbitrator and a voluntary trial resolution judge.
He is a long term, active member of the George C. Young American Inn of Court, where he holds a "Master" designation, serves on its Board of Directors and was the President from 2011 to 2013. The mission of the American Inns of Court is to inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education, and mentoring.
From 2009 through 2021, Gary was an elected member of the Orange County Bar Association's Executive Council. Among other duties, the Executive Council determines all fiscal matters, directs the manner in which all funds of the OCBA are disbursed and adopts a budget for each fiscal year.
