Speaker: Melissa Stires, Director of New Partner Engagement, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for a Dr. Phillips area community update on the 9-acre site master plan with exciting news and information.
Melissa Stires is a twice Certified Advanced International Protocol Officer, a Leadership and Success Coach, and an accomplished fundraising, event, marketing, and nonprofit executive with experience in the corporate, tech, and government sectors.
She was recently named the College of Central Florida's Distinguished Alumni 2023.
Since 1999, Melissa has been driven by purpose and passion for creating connections and building relationships on a global scale. Melissa developed unique insights and skills in cross-cultural communication and cultural sensitivity through her public relations and international protocol training. Melissa has been privileged to work with, advise, and train members of royal families, politicians, nonprofits, and business influencers worldwide.
From orchestrating opening day events for The Washington Nationals Ball Park to launching the first-ever educational partnership with Fortune Magazine's Global Forum to directing and producing the 40th Anniversary Celebration for H.E. Qaboos bin Said Al Said, Sultan of Oman and leading delegations on more than 60 international goodwill expeditions, Melissa's experience is as unique as she is. These varied experiences allow Melissa to bring expansive knowledge into her work, focusing on training and equipping individuals, c-suite leaders, and teams in fundraising and constituent engagement, executive coaching, international protocol, and high-impact events. From the boardroom to the banquet hall, Melissa knows how to motivate and lead her clients and teams to success.
Melissa is the Founder of Stires Consulting and newly appointed Director of Development, New Partner Engagement for the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. She resides in Seminole County, Florida, with her husband Nick, daughter Ella (6), and golden retriever Teddy.
