Breakfast Connections - AdventHealth Panel of Experts
We’re all facing difficult questions as we try to return to normal following the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. How do we reopen our businesses safely? How do we take care of ourselves, our families, and our employees amid the stress and uncertainty?
Join us for a conversation with AdventHealth’s Dr. Tim Hendrix, Dr. Jacquelyn Nystrom and Dr. Peter Ganpat, featuring insights on best practices for getting back to business, managing stress and staying healthy in these uncertain times.
Medical Director of AdventHealth Centra Care
Timothy Hendrix, M.D., has served as medical director of AdventHealth Centra Care since 2004. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He specializes in family medicine. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, AdventHealth Centra Care has taken lead on external testing, management of health care partnerships with external businesses and employee health. As medical director, Dr. Hendrix supervises occupational health services, including keeping AdventHealth’s own employees in Florida safe during the pandemic.
Dr. Jacquelyn Nystrom is a board certified family medicine physician at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Lake Nona. She specializes in women's and children's health care. Additionally, she performs school, sports and employment physicals, treats minor injuries, conducts well-infant and well-child examinations and treats chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and more. This year, Dr. Nystrom was awarded the prestigious degree of Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians, to recognize her community service and professional accomplishments.
Dr. Peter Ganpat is a dual boarded physician in both Family Medicine and Psychiatry. He currently holds a faculty appointment at Florida State University School of Medicine as an associate clinical professor in Psychiatry.
