DESCRIPTION:March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month\n\nDr. Paul Panzarella from Center for Advanced Gastroenterology will be discussing the importance of screening exams. Colorectal cancer is highly treatable\, yet it continues to be one of the leading causes of death in the United States with increasing incidence in younger individuals.\n\nWho is at increased risk? Who needs an earlier screening? When should I have a colonoscopy done? What are the symptoms? What can I do to decrease my chances of getting colon cancer/ 1 in 7 diagnoses of Colon Cancer in people under the age of 50.\n\n\n\nDr. Panzarella completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. He has interests in Colorectal Cancer Screening as well as General Hepatology. In addition\, he performs in-office hemorrhoid banding treatments\, which offers a painless alternative to surgery. Lastly\, he is one of the few physicians in the Orlando area who performs Interstim\, which is a newer treatment for patients who experience fecal incontinence. In his spare time\, he loves spending time with his wife and three sons.\n\nThe mission of the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce is to enhance economic growth of the Lake Nona area of Orlando\, Florida by focusing on education\, promotion\, and development of the business community\, and those areas of the community affecting business.\n\n\n\nOur primary goals are to strengthen our local economy\, to promote the community\, provide networking opportunities\, represent the interest of business with government\, and develop community leaders.Our Signature Breakfast Event has been designed to promote strong connections\, business opportunities\, and fun!
