New AdventHealth ER in Lake Nona & Innovations in Healthcare
Austin Purkeypile, AdventHealth's East Orlando COO, will provide a brief update on our new AdventHealth Lake Nona ER and Robert Herzog, Vice President of Research Operations, will present on innovations in healthcare.

Austin Purkeypile oversees Cardiovascular and Cancer service lines, ancillary and support services as well as the construction and launch of Freestanding Emergency Departments in Waterford Lakes and Lake Nona. Austin also serves on our Board of Directors and heads our Health Committee.

Rob Herzog serves as AdventHealth’s Vice President of Research Operations and the Nicholson Center, providing administrative oversight of all research activities as well as clinical and surgical training and education, in support of the Chief Scientific Officer.  AdventHealth Research Institute is the largest footprint for clinical research throughout the 49-hospital, 80,000 employee national AdventHealth system
