The mission of the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce is to enhance economic growth of the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida by focusing on education, promotion, and development of the business community, and those areas of the community affecting business.

About this month's Guest Speaker...

We will have Claudia Swonger, LMHC of Lotus Blossom Counseling, LLC.

Claudia's work experience includes Hospice organizations, Department of Juvenile Justice and Orange County hospital homebound program, where she worked with end of life issues, bereavement, behavior problems, depression and anxiety. She is also a Clinical Qualified Supervisor with the State of Florida.

Dr. Soto has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Ph.D. in Counseling. He s a licensed therapist and State of Florida Qualified Supervisor. Dr. Soto trained in New York City and has 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children, helping clients to overcome obstacles and improve the quality of their lives through clinical therapy. He has worked in psychiatric facilities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and currently in a private practice setting. Dr. Soto is bilingual and as a Latino, he offers cultural sensitivity to the Hispanic and LGBT community. Dr. Soto’s approach to therapy is client-centered and solution focused, and his area of expertise is using therapeutic writing techniques and journaling in his practice, "I always encourage clients regarding the benefits of putting thoughts down on paper as a way to reflect on, and 're-story' their lives. During therapy we set attainable goals and focus on getting 'unstuck' from negative life patterns."
